Leslie Fish’s setting of Rudyard Kipling’s “The Palace”
Everything I know about Masons comes from this song, Assassin’s Creed 3, and my grandfather, who is a Mason, but all he’s said is that they hired strippers once.

Eumenides – Leslie Fish
“Eumenides,” by Mercedes Lackey and Leslie Fish, performed by Leslie Fish
This song seems…topical.

The Hanging Tree – The Hunger Games
Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where they strung up a man
They say who murdered three.
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met up at midnight
In the hanging tree.
Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where the dead man called out
For his love to flee.
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met up at midnight
In the hanging tree.
Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where I told you to run,
So we’d both be free.
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met up at midnight
In the hanging tree.
Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Wear a necklace of hope,
Side by side with me.
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met up at midnight
In the hanging tree.
Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where I told you to run,
So we’d both be free.
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met up at midnight
In the hanging tree.
Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where they strung up a man
They say who murdered three.
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met up at midnight
In the hanging tree.
Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where the dead man called out
For his love to flee.
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met up at midnight
In the hanging tree.
Sera Was Never – Dragon Age
Sera was never an agreeable girl,
her tongue tells tales of rebellion
They're Made Out of Meat – Kathleen Sloan
“Meat,” by Kathleen Sloan, based on the short story by the same name by Terry Bisson, performed by Kathleen Sloan and somebody whose name I don’t know who has been identified as probably Paul Kwinn by vagabondviolet at the 2014 Pegasus Awards concert, with sign language interpretation by Judi Miller.
Kraken/Kitten
“Kraken/Kitten” by Leslie Fish and Don Simpson, sung by Leslie Fish
Presumably the first half was written separately, but this is still one of the only songs I know that manages to parody itself
Tale'sedrin – Larry Warner
“Tale’sedrin” by Mercedes Lackey and Leslie Fish, sung by Larry Warner

Pretty in Scarlet – Murder Ballads
So guess what’s available for purchase today!
Go on, guess!
(Have you guessed yet? No? Okay, I’ll tell you.)
It’s that album I’ve been banging on about for like a damned year now, is what! It’s available for download on Bandcamp as of this morning, and that means that if you want to stream the whole thing before you pay a cent for it, you totally can.
Obviously, we’re hoping you like it enough to pay for it, but hey, at least this way you know what you’ll be getting. (Among other things, your own copy of The Ballad of Captain America’s Disapproving Face, which a few people have mentioned wanting…)
So here it is! Go have a listen, and if you like what you hear, please shill the site — we’ve put a lot of work into this one, we’re proud of it, and we really want to share it with the world.
