I was looking at the Pegasus Awards brainstorming results poll (keep an eye out for the final ballot here!) and saw this song on there. Playing Rapunzel will be at OVFF this year! This song is haunting and beautiful and I may or may not have included it in my nominating ballot. >_> <_<
Only three left, and there’s power in threes:
In the stories I tell, there’s never a doubt
That the third one is different, the third one has magic
But what will I do, where will I be
What will become of me when the stories run out?
So you remember the Nominating Ballot we were telling you about? Well, the nominations are in; the finalists have been named, and the final Voting Ballot is live! Go check it out!
Just to remind you that Nominations for the 2016 Pegasus Awards will close just after midnight on Sunday, July 31, which is less than three weeks away!
(What are the Pegasus Awards, you ask? Take a look here!)
To help with the Nominating ballot, you can check out the results of the annual Brainstorming Poll at http://www.ovff.org/pegasus/opinions.html. Remember, a song can be nominated whether or not it appears on the Brainstorming Poll, but it may be a good idea to check the award history to make sure it hasn’t already won one.
A project of compiling audio links for all the songs on the Brainstorming Poll has had to be shelved for lack of time, but you are welcome to check out the unfinished results (and suggest additional links if you feel so inclined).
The ballot itself is at http://www.ovff.org/pegasus/2015nomballot.html.
IT IS TRUE
The ballot is here and you can listen to all the nominees here, and I generally owe animatedamerican for sometimes running my blog for me.
This is also your reminder that ANYONE who is involved in the filk community in ANY way is eligible to vote, which includes all of you. So do it. Be involved. Feel important.
Just to remind you that Nominations for the 2015 Pegasus Awards will close on Friday, July 31, which is just under two weeks away!

(Addition by mod: this is a reminder that ANYONE who considers themselves involved with the filk community can vote, so you are all eligible. I hereby give you this power.)

This song is…chilling.
